Lineage Piece Summon Cores: Where to Use & How to Get Them

Getting Summon Cores

Summon Cores are a general drop: 4% from any mob or boss, plus a guaranteed slot in the bonus-material pool of Rare chests and higher (Mythical chests pay up to 3 at once). You accumulate them passively while grinding anything.

Where to Use Them

Summon Cores are exchanged at the boss-summon NPC — they let you force-spawn world bosses instead of waiting out spawn cycles. World bosses in Lineage Piece run on timed rotations (the Sung Jin Woo slot cycles every 90 seconds; Fossil Island bosses every 3 minutes), and a core skips the queue when the timer or another player’s summon works against you.

When They Matter

  • Targeted material farms — when you need one specific boss repeatedly (say, Sword Technique Books from Sung Jin Woo, or Six Eyes from Gojo), cores keep the rotation dense.
  • Boss-kill quests — Mastery chains demand dozens of specific boss kills (“Defeat Sukuna 20 times”, “Defeat Ichigo (Bankai) 30 times”); cores turn those from sessions into minutes.
  • Slime chain — Rimuru summoning has its own item (the Slime Orb), not cores — don’t confuse the two.

Hold your cores for the boss you are actively farming rather than burning them casually; the 4% trickle refills slower than endgame chains consume them.

How do I get Summon Cores?

Any mob or boss at 4%, guaranteed bonus material from Rare chests or higher (1 per Rare/Epic, 1–2 Legendary, 1–3 Mythical), or the Merchant in Lineage Town at 15,000 coins when it rotates in (every 20 minutes).

How do I use Summon Cores?

At the Boss Summoner on Legend's Arena: Verdant Hero (Deku) costs 2 cores + 350 gems, Saber 2 cores + 500 gems. The Aizen Summoner also takes 50 cores (+ 1 Tainted Soul Pill, 50K coins, 750 gems) to spawn Vizard Ichigo.

What is the best way to farm Summon Cores?

At 4% per kill on any mob, ~25 kills per core — so the fastest mobs you can one-shot are the farm; the 4% applies to bosses too but they die slower. Rare chests and higher add a guaranteed bonus material, and Summon Core is one of the five items in that pool.

What does a Summon Core actually do?

Nothing on its own — it is the currency the Boss Summoner and Aizen Summoner consume to spawn a boss on demand instead of waiting for the timer.
