Lineage Piece Progression Guide: Leveling, Max Level & Gem Farm

The Level Cap

The current cap is level 7,000, raised in the Frieren update (official board card dated 2026-08-24); before that it was 6,000 (Yhwach), 5,000 (Shinjuku), 4,000 (Aizen & Raiden) and 3,500 (Slime). Level gates matter constantly: codes carry level requirements, Artifacts unlock at 1,000, Shadow Daggers demand 5,000+ — the full ladder of everything the board ties to a level is in the table at the end of this page.

Island Order

Progress tracks the mob ladder — each island’s mobs give the best EXP for their band (full island list). As a rule of thumb move on when kills stop feeling fast: Dawnwind Village → Deeproot Jungle → Frostborn Island → Scorched Ruins → Jujutsu Highschool → Hueco Mundo → Shinjuku Showdown and the endgame isles.

Stack Your EXP Multipliers

  • Quests give +20% EXP since the Kokushibo update — clear every island’s quests rather than pure grinding.
  • Rank system: each material-tier rank up (Coal → Copper → Iron → Gold → RedStone → Lapis) adds +10% EXP, coins, gems and luck. Rank milestones are the closest thing the game has to prestige — climb them deliberately.
  • Skill Tree Exp branch: unlock Exp tiers with Bytes from the Simulated Sea, branching into Coin/Gem/Luck at Tier IV.

Coin & Gem Farm

  • Chests scale hard with rarity: a Mythical chest pays 200K–350K coins and 900–1,100 gems. Boss farming (7.5% Epic, 5% Legendary, 1% Mythical chest chances) is the reliable income line.
  • Elf race pays +10% gold and +10% gems if you happen to roll it early — not worth keeping late.
  • The Huge Stone event feeds ores, which save you coins on Blacksmith failures (timer).
  • Boss’s Souls from Legend’s Arena convert to Trial Keys (75K coins each) — cheaper than the gem option if coins are flush.

When You Hit a Wall

Damage walls are stat walls. Check in order: Stats Potential rank (reroll toward SS: +24% damage), trait rarity (reroll guide), Blacksmith enhancement level, artifact set bonuses (artifacts) and your character’s Mastery quest.

Rank ladder

Coal → Copper → Iron → Gold → RedStone → Lapis. Each successful rank advancement grants a +10% boost to the following core attributes: Economy: Coins & Gems Progression: EXP Probability: Luck Boost board card

What is the fastest way to get gems?

Per the board: the Group Reward NPC's one-time 5,000 gems (Dawnwind Village, for joining the game group), chest drops (Mythical chest 900–1,100 gems, Legendary 500–800; bosses drop Epic / Legendary / Mythical chests at 7.5% / 5% / 1%), the Elf race's +10% gem gain, and each Rank up's +10% gems. Playtime rewards also pay gems, but the board's reward card is archived, so we do not quote its numbers.

Where is the Huge Stone?
