Where the Hollow Mask Drops
Hollow Mask is a 0.1% drop from Ichigo (Bankai), Lv.4000, in Hueco Mundo (per the official Trello — the same mob also drops the Substitute Shinigami title at 0.1%).
At 0.1%, expect a real grind: hundreds of kills is normal. Luck buffs help, and the kills themselves are not wasted — see below.
What It’s For
The Mask is the item requirement (x1, plus 600K Coins / 2K Gems) at the Tensa Zangetsu sword NPC in Hueco Mundo. Its questline:
- Obtain Zangetsu
- Kill Ichigo (Bankai) 50 times
Quest 2 overlaps perfectly with the Mask grind — every farm kill counts toward the 50, so start the questline before you farm, not after.
