How to Get Bytes in Lineage Piece (Simulated Sea & Byte Shop)
Where Bytes Come From
Bytes are earned by completing the Simulated Sea gamemode — the roguelite mode from the Kokushibo update (NPC on Monument Isle): survive 13 rooms, picking buff cards along the way, and beat the Room 13 boss. Every successful clear pays out Bytes; hitting 10,000 points in a run also awards an Artifact Sub Reroll (per the official Trello).
What Bytes Buy
Two sinks, both on Monument Isle:
1. The Skill Tree — Bytes are its upgrade currency across the Offense / Defense / Progression branches.

Spending Priority
The Glamoth Planet Key is the standout — it opens the dungeon that drops Armor Scrap, feeding a second whole economy. Reroll items are convenience buys once your Skill Tree core is funded.
