What is the best weapon in Lineage Piece right now?
On this ranking the S tier is Solemn Lament, Saber Alter (Excalibur Morgan) and Shadow Daggers. The official board's Solemn Lament update card also buffed Raiden's katana-form V by 100% and R by 60%, Excalibur Morgan's R by 40%, Miyabi's R by 50% and Gilgamesh's R by 80%, which is why those blades sit where they do.

Which is the cheapest Mythical sword to buy?
By NPC price on the official board: Shadow (7.5M coins + 15K gems) and Raiden Shogun (7.5M + 7.5K) are the cheapest, then Kokushibo and Shadow Daggers (10M + 10K each), Saber Alter (20M + 2K), Solemn Lament and Vasto Lorde (30M + 45K each) and Frieren (35M + 25K). Miyabi is not sold by an NPC at all — it comes from the banner gacha.
Which swords need a specific race first?
Raiden Shogun needs the Archon race, Kokushibo the Demon race, Frieren the Elf race. Shadow Daggers has no race gate but needs level 5,000+, Player's Dagger and Monarch's Acknowledgment. See races for how each is obtained.
How do I get the Sword Technique Book?
The board lists it at 1% from Sword bosses, and the Sung Jin Woo boss card lists it at 3% (Saber's card says 1%). It is required for Player's Dagger and Excalibur; the Book Exchange on Fossil Island also takes 5 of them for a Slime Orb. Details on the Sword Technique Book page.
