How to Get Firefly in Lineage Piece (Glamoth Race + Planet)
Prerequisite: Glamoth Race
Firefly needs the Glamoth race — item-based with a 10% success chance (+24% melee, +10% crit dmg, +5% Firefly damage, +4% crit chance).
The Dungeon: Glamoth Planet
Open with a Glamoth Planet Key. Structure: kill 50 enemies → Proto-SAM: Type-III mini-boss → 50 more → Fyrefly Type-IV (1.25B HP). No waves — the “torn of Sam robots” come continuously.
Drops (main boss): Ignition Valve 5%, Firefly’s Will 4%, Shaper 2%, Molten Core 0.8%, The Molten Knight title 3%, outfit 2.5%. Proto-SAM drops the same set at lower rates. Dungeon mobs also pay Armor Scrap — the Sam Shop currency.
The Bill (Firefly NPC)
- Glamoth race
- 1 Molten Core (0.8% — the wall)
- 3 Shapers
- 6 Firefly’s Wills
- 9 Ignition Valves
- 250 Armor Scrap
- 27.5M coins & 30K gems — the second-priciest coin bill in the game
Status
Double-buffed in the Solemn Lament patch (V +25%, R +30%) — currently S-tier (tier list). The Firefly material band also holds the Oak Cake Roll and Dreamscape items (materials).

Questions players ask
Real searches that land on this page, answered in one go.
How do I get the Glamoth race?
Consume a Glamoth Essence — the board lists a 10% chance of success per attempt. Glamoth Essence costs 50 Armor Scrap at the Armor Scrap (Sam) Shop on Monument Isle, and Armor Scrap comes from the Glamoth Planet dungeon. Expect ~10 essences (500 scrap) for one success.
What are the Firefly requirements?
Firefly NPC on Monument Isle: Glamoth race, 1 Molten Core, 3 Shapers, 6 Firefly's Will, 9 Ignition Valves, 250 Armor Scrap, 27.5M coins and 30,000 gems.
How many Glamoth Planet runs does Firefly take?
Fyrefly Type-IV drops Molten Core at 0.8% (~125 kills for one), Shaper 2% (~150 for three), Firefly's Will 4% (~150 for six) and Ignition Valve 5% (~180 for nine). Proto-SAM Type-III drops the same items at lower rates, so the Molten Core is the true bottleneck.
What is the Firefly mastery?
The Shaper NPC on Monument Isle: deal 2B damage with Firefly, equip The Molten Knight title (3% from Fyrefly Type-IV), use any Firefly skill 300 times, clear Simulated Sea (Sea 5) once, defeat Fyrefly Type-IV 15 times.
What does the Glamoth race give?
Two figures on the official board: the race card lists +24% melee damage, +10% crit damage, +5% Firefly damage, +4% crit chance; the update card lists +27.5% melee damage, +5% Firefly damage, −12.5% crit damage, −7.5% damage reduction. Both are shown as written.
