Lineage Piece Beginner Guide: First Steps to Level 500
Your First Ten Minutes
You spawn in Dawnwind Village, the starter island (Lv.0–250). Three things before you fight anything:
- Join the Roblox group and like the game. The Group Reward NPC in the village pays starter bonuses, and codes will not redeem without both.
- Buy the Katana — 2,500 coins from the Katana NPC. It carries you through the first bandit camps.
- Redeem your level-100 codes as soon as you hit the gate — see the codes page for the current batch and level requirements.
Do Cid’s Quest Early
Cid in Dawnwind Village charges 150K coins & 600 gems and asks for two things: find 2 Crowbars (locations here) and take 5M damage. The reward is the Stylish Bandit Slayer blade — modest on its own, but it is a hard prerequisite for the Shadow questline later, and finishing the quest makes Cid’s Keys start dropping from village bandits.
The Leveling Loop
Kill mobs → open chests → level up → move islands. The mob ladder scales from Bandits (Lv.1) through Monkeys (Lv.250), Shanks (Lv.400), Snow Bandits (Lv.600) and beyond. Move up an island as soon as mobs stop giving meaningful EXP — island level ranges here.
Systems That Unlock as You Go
- Races and Traits roll at character creation; rerolls drop from chests (race odds).
- Fruits give your power moveset (fruit odds).
- Blacksmith upgrades weapon damage with ores — start feeding it Common Ore early.
- Haki opens at level 500 with a questline — read the Haki guide before you start it.
- Artifacts unlock at level 1000 for 250K coins & 1K gems.
Common Mistakes
- Redeeming codes before joining the group (they silently fail).
- Skipping Cid’s quest, then hitting a wall at the Shadow questline.
- Selling ores — you will want every tier for the Blacksmith.
- Ignoring the Huge Stone event — it is the fastest early ore source (spawn timer).
